President Lazarus Chakwera has called on Malawians to remain steadfast in their pursuit of Vision 2063, stressing that perseverance, not regression, will drive the nation toward prosperity.

Speaking at the official opening of the Global Leadership Summit in Lilongwe, Chakwera urged citizens to endure hardships while staying united.

“Each pain we endure in this wilderness, without turning back on God or each other, lays the foundation for the prosperity that is surely coming,” he said.

He also applauded national and international leaders at the summit for allowing him to share his journey of faith and resilience.

Victor Mughogho, Country Coordinator for the Global Leadership Network, emphasized that leadership development is critical to achieving Vision 2063.

He noted that the summit provides a platform for networking, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing to enhance governance, decision-making, and leadership in Malawi.
